Where The Trail Ends

Where The Trail Ends

Snow leopards are elusive creatures, and to catch sight of one such as this on a windswept mountainside is a rarity. The snow leopard's home is in the high altitudes of central Asia. The leopard is perfectly adapted to live in this world of rock and glacier. Its smoky gray coat sprinkled with black rosettes and its pale eyes reflect the colors of its world.

The snow leopard tracks its prey on perpetual snow through the silent hills barely disturbing the tranquility. Here we see the leopard at the end of the trail where the tracks end sitting poised and perplexed as the only sound is that of the wind as it comes and goes.
