Mort: I received info and spoke to you briefly about holding a workship out of Cuyahoga Valley Art Center. I am the past President of the Board. As I recall you responded favorably. This was before the holidays. I found myself engrossed in the holiday activity and other Non Profits I am envolved with. Well its time to come up for air and try to rekindle a conversation or e-mail with you. I spoke with our Executive Administrator and some of our key art folks and we (CVAV) are interested in discussing a Workshop that you would lead in the Fall of this year. I have been asked to coordinate this to see if this would be possible. Forgive me for previous discussions and info as I lost all my notes (not bad for a person with over 40 years of business experience.) I promise to do better this time. Please forward any info you think relevant for moving ahead if you have interest in this Workshop. We could get together with a very small group from CVAC and work up A PLAN if desirable. I found a beautiful offset litho of your painting "Lavender & Crystal". It is limited edition of 950 and measures 23" x 19". It is professionlly framed and in excellent condition. Your website says you are out of stock. Could you please give me a ballpark value? I have hung it in my own house for now. I like the way the texture of the canvas is so present in the print. As we head for winter, it may stay up on my wall to remind me that spring has always come in the past. Rodney 12/10/11 - Rodney, a ballpark value would be $250, unframed.
11/06/11 Norman Wise Hi Mort, we purchased an original by you with the Mother & Father eagle feeding their two babies. We purchased the painting at an auction. I want to thank you for the beautiful piece of art that we will treasure in our family for years to come. 12/10/11- Norman, Could you send me a photo email of the painting of the Eagles and your address so I can add it to my records of where my paintings are?

Mr. Solberg, I have been a big fan of yours for years. Have two A/P prints: "Artic Monarch" and "Challenge of the Wild" and wonder what the difference is between those and the LE 1500 and how it affects value. Thanks, Karen 9/24/11 - Karen, An AP is the same as a numbered print. It is from the same batch just numbered differently. A limited Edition number is 1/1000 or whatever the edition size is. The AP is in addition to the numbered edition and is usually split between the publisher & the artist AP 1/80.

I inherited one of your watercolors from my father. It is of a beautifully colorful floral arrangement in a blue vase. You can only see the bottom of the blue vase, which looks like a bowl. On the bowl are what looks like the three wise men on camels. How can I tell if it is an original? Thanks for your time :) 7/23/11 - Lisa, If you can send me a digital image, I will be able to give you more information.

I have a framed print of "When Winter Warms" (452 of 950) purchased long ago. I cannot recall the year. Do you have any idea of the sale value? Thanks and regards, Alan 7/23/11 - Alan, My value may differ from what you can buy the print on eBay. If I had one to sell it would be between $400-$450, unframed.

Mr. Solberg, I got introduced to your art in 1987 when I purchased Bad Water Bear at a local gallery for over the fireplace of my first apartment. I spent hours staring at it, as I found your style to be very thought provoking. I now have 10 of your LE prints displayed in my home, mostly of the bears and wolves. I just bought another one for my office. After admiring mine, my parents have added 8 to their home. I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your talents. Your work is very unique and meaningful to my family. Thanks again. 3/7/11 - Michael. Thank you for the nice comments, and thank your parents too as they bought my children's shoes for the year.
03/04/11 Wanda Jordan Dear Mr. Solberg, First, I want to admit that I had not heard of you until I had seen your print, "Monarch Of The Sky", on a recent famous auction site. I found your web site by using Google and find your artwork to be breathtaking. I have been looking for prints depicting wildlife in their natural habitat and find yours to be, by far, the most impressive in contemporary art. As much as I would like to purchase your art through the auction site, I think I will purchase them directly from you to show my support. If you have any more of the "Monarch Of The Sky" prints, please let me know - I love the subject and the detail. Thank you. Wanda 3/6/11 - Responded.

02/25/11 Beth Labb For years we have had one of your matted, framed, numbered prints of "Watching" (609 of 1000) hanging in our office. I love this print, and would like to know the value, as I would like to purchase it from the company. Thank you. I love your wonderful work. 3/6/11 - Responded.
02/20/11 Susan Gresto I met Mr. Solberg in a gallery in Running Springs, CA. Charles Wysocki was also present at the event. I was a teenager at the time. My parents own several of his prints. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my neighbors also have two! Recently, at mid-life, I have returned to my love of art and am pursuing watercolor, among other creative outlets. Mr. Solberg was an inspiration to me! 3/6/11 - Responded.
02/16/11 Jim Clayborn Mort, Great talking with you and thanks for the advice on the Epson printer. You have a really nice website, by the way. I am in the process of giving my website a facelift. Jim 2/19/11 - I hope you find the one you need. Enjoyed your web site.
