By Firelight

The mountain lion finds himself awakened by the flickering of light and the crackling of timber, but still does not feel the heat within the confines of the cool shelter in which he has spent the night. He senses that he is safe in the deep pocket of the cave. He will lie there, watching the fire until it passes, and will then wander the blackened forest for food.
