I have friends on a ranch in Wyoming who raised a bobcat named "B.C." from a kitten. The door was always open for the cat to come and go as he pleased. The time came when he did not return, but the love that was given to him has never subsided.

The bobcat in my painting is out in the fresh snow tracking. He has stopped as he has seen a movement in the brush. He will study the brush carefully to see if whatever moved will require further investigation.
